"My work is about relationships.  I strive to capture beautiful points of tension between two concepts, realities, or belief structures, whether nature and humanity, religion and innocence, feminism and nature, or myself and the audience.  My Indian heritage, queer identity, and female perspective always appear in every piece I create and I find the depiction of the natural world in conversation with the female form fascinating.  Overall, my desire is to build portals into new worlds, using my art to bring light to dynamics between ideas, spreading a positive message in the process."
